Boar's Head Provisions Co., Inc. Komen for the Cure for each sandwich sold from foodservice venues around the race track. Featuring a pink raspberry vinaigrette dressing, this special Boar's Head sandwich will be offered one day only in support of Komen for the Cure, the world's largest breast cancer advocacy organization and partner of the Kentucky Oaks.   The race, the companion event to the annual Kentucky Derby, is scheduled for Friday, April 30, 2010, one day before the "Run for the Roses."

The sandwich, featuring the recently introduced Boar's Head EverRoast Oven Roasted Chicken Breast,  is made with a salad of bite-sized pieces of chicken, chopped celery and raspberry vinaigrette, layered with Boar's Head Lacey Swiss Cheese, leafy green lettuce and fresh sliced strawberries served on a croissant. Kentucky Oaks patrons can show support for this important cause and at the same time enjoy the distinctive homemade taste of EverRoast Chicken, when they purchase this sandwich.
