SELF® Magazine Healthy Food Awards – June 2013

Boar’s Head Ovengold® Turkey Breast was awarded Best Turkey Deli Slice in SELF Magazine’s 2013 Healthy Food Awards. Testers said, “Tastes like Thanksgiving—minus the guilt.”

  1. Cook's Country - June 2013

    Boar’s Head Monterey Jack Cheese with Jalapeño was voted the winner in a blind taste test. “This “buttery” cheese had a “tangy,” “cheddarlike” flavor that was “clean” and “nicely balanced,” and the jalapeños gave it a “bright,” “assertive” kick. The texture was “even and firm” yet “creamy.”

    Boar’s Head Black Forest Brand 25% Lower Sodium Smoked Ham received the Diabetes Focus 2011 Healthy Food Award. It was noted as being dietician approved for being lower in sugar, carbs and saturated fat along with a high ranking in a taste test. The ham was described as “with a hint of sweetness, this low-calorie ham works best in almost any sandwich.”
