Sweet Slice® Ham & Cheddar Salad

Here is a refreshing way to use leftover Boar’s Head Boneless Smoked Sweet Slice® Ham (if you even have leftovers): pair it with Boar's Head Canadian Cheddar Cheese, sweet blueberries and an impressive - yet effortless - pistachio brittle.

Pistachio Brittle

  1. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Mix sugar and water in small stainless steel saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Do not stir.
  3. When sugar dissolves and color turns to a medium amber, remove from heat.
  4. Mix in pistachios and baking soda.
  5. Thinly spread onto pre-sprayed baking sheet.
  6. Let harden, then crush into pieces.


  1. In large bowl, combine the arugula, blueberries, cheddar, crushed pistachio brittle and vinaigrette dressing.
  2. Mix the salad and divide among four dishes.
  3. Plate with Boar's Head Sweet Slice® Boneless Smoked Ham.
