Corned Beef and Cabbage

Product: 211: Boar's Head 1st Cut Uncooked Corned Beef Brisket1
Spice pouch, provided8cups
Cold water1cup
Yukon gold potatoes, quartered4
Large carrots, peeled and roughly chopped2
Onion , halved1whole
Cabbage, cut into wedgesInstructions
- 01Remove all packaging and place corned beef brisket into a 4-quart pot.
- 02Add the provided spice pouch and enough cold water to cover.
- 03Bring water to a boil, cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for 2.5-3 hours until tender and internal temperature reaches 160° F (cooking time will vary depending on the brisket).
- 04Add potatoes, carrots, onions and cabbage during the final hour of cooking.
- 05Remove from the pot and slice across the grain.
- 06Serve and enjoy.
