Italian Melt

Enjoy a hearty combination of traditional Sandwich Style Pepperoni, robust Genoa Salami, and fragrant Prosciutto di Parma with our melty Picante Provolone Cheese. Served at a get-together or for the family, it won't disappoint their tastebuds.

Fresh red onions, chopped
cup
Boar's Head Deli Dressing
1loaf
Ciabatta bread, halved lengthwise
¼cup
Fresh Basil, chopped
4oz
Boar's Head Sandwich Style Pepperoni, sliced thin
3oz
Boar’s Head® Picante Provolone Cheese, sliced thin
¼cup
Roasted red bell pepper strips
4oz
Boar's Head Genoa Salami, sliced thin
4oz
Boar's Head Prosciutto di Parma®
2tbsp
Mild banana pepper rings
1cup
Baby Arugula

Instructions


  1. 01In a small bowl, combine red onions and deli dressing. Set aside to marinate.
  2. 02Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  3. 03Lay the pieces of ciabatta on a baking sheet, facing up. Generously drizzle the red onion vinaigrette over the bread, layering the red onions and basil on the top slice. On the bottom slice, layer the pepperoni, half of the provolone, roasted bell pepper strips, salami, the remaining provolone, and the prosciutto. Place in the oven just long enough to melt the cheese.
  4. 04Remove from the oven and add the banana peppers and arugula, folding the top half of bread on top of the bottom half.
  5. 05Slice into 4 sandwiches and serve!
