Bold BourbonRidge Uncured Smoked Ham and Cheddar Biscuits with Fig Jam


BourbonRidge Uncured Smoked Ham pairs perfectly with a mildly sweet fig jam and Sharp Wisconsin Cheddar for an unexpected twist on a breakfast classic.

Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler to 525° F.
  2. Spread room temperature butter over biscuit halves.
  3. Broil biscuit halves until butter melts and biscuits brown at edges, about 1 minute.
  4. Remove biscuits from broiler, keeping broiler on.
  5. Spread the bottom halves of biscuits with fig jam.
  6. Top each of the bottom halves with slices of ham, then 1 slice of cheese.
  7. If desired, broil until cheese is melted and ham is heated, about 1 minute.
  8. Cover with biscuit tops.
