Fried Bologna Breakfast Sandwich

Enjoy the good old-fashioned flavor of our Beef Bologna in a hearty, delicious breakfast sandwich. When crispy fried bologna meets the classic combination of egg and cheddar, each indulgent bite brings a smooth, yet crunchy flavor sensation.

Ingredients

Butter
1slice
Artisan Bread, thick
4oz
Boar's Head Beef Bologna, sliced thin
1slice
Boar's Head Vermont Cheddar Cheese, sliced thin

Egg

Instructions


  1. 01Preheat broiler on high.
  2. 02In a large skillet over medium heat, melt half of the butter.
  3. 03Once butter is sizzling, add the bread to the pan to toast, about 1-2 minutes on each side. Then move to one side of the pan.
  4. 04On the other side of the pan, melt the remaining butter and add the bologna slices. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then flip bologna until all sides are evenly browned. Keep the skillet warm, on low and buttered for later use.
  5. 05Place bread on an oven-safe tray and top with cheese and bologna. Broil for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Remove from oven and set aside.
  6. 06In the large skillet, pan fry an egg to your preference. Place on top of the bologna and enjoy!
