Pastrami Turkey BBQ Slow Cooker

  1. In a sauté pan, cook the onions in oil until they start to brown, about 4 minutes
  2. Add the chicken stock and BBQ sauce to the onions
  3. Place Turkey in the slow cooker and cover with the onions and sauce
  4. Reheat the Pastrami Turkey in the sauce in the crock pot for 1.5 hours
  5. Remove Turkey from slow cooker and let it cool before handling
  6. Shred the pastrami turkey by hand and put it back into the sauce
  7. Stir together
  8. Serve the BBQ Pastrami Turkey on a bun or over mashed potatoes or in a baked potato
