Prime Rib French Dip

Ingredients
4oz
Seasoned Prime Rib, sliced, juices reserved1½oz
Imported Swiss Sliced1oz
Horseradish Butter, softened1oz
Caramelized Onions ¼oz
Garlic Chips1each
Soft French Bread2qts
Beef StockInstructions
- 01Preheat oven to 350F
- 02In a sauce pot combine juices reserved from prime rib packaging and mix with beef stock
- 03Simmer on medium heat for 5 minutes
- 04Set aside
- 05Split bread in half leaving a hinge
- 06Spread horseradish butter on inside of top and bottom of roll
- 07Add swiss cheese on top of horseradish butter and place onto a baking tray
- 08Cook in the oven for 7-8 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is beginning to brown
- 09While the bread is in the oven, heat .5 tbsp of olive oil on a griddle
- 10Place prime rib slices and onions on griddle with olive oil and cook for 1-2 minutes just until hot
- 11Remove bread from oven and add prime rib and onions
- 12Top with garlic chips and close
- 13Cut sandwich in half and put on plate
- 14Ladle au jus into a ramekin and serve with sandwich
