Prime Rib French Dip

Ingredients


4oz
Seasoned Prime Rib, sliced, juices reserved
oz
Imported Swiss Sliced
1oz
Horseradish Butter, softened
1oz
Caramelized Onions
¼oz
Garlic Chips
1each
Soft French Bread
2qts
Beef Stock

Instructions


  1. 01Preheat oven to 350F
  2. 02In a sauce pot combine juices reserved from prime rib packaging and mix with beef stock
  3. 03Simmer on medium heat for 5 minutes
  4. 04Set aside
  5. 05Split bread in half leaving a hinge
  6. 06Spread horseradish butter on inside of top and bottom of roll
  7. 07Add swiss cheese on top of horseradish butter and place onto a baking tray
  8. 08Cook in the oven for 7-8 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is beginning to brown
  9. 09While the bread is in the oven, heat .5 tbsp of olive oil on a griddle
  10. 10Place prime rib slices and onions on griddle with olive oil and cook for 1-2 minutes just until hot
  11. 11Remove bread from oven and add prime rib and onions
  12. 12Top with garlic chips and close
  13. 13Cut sandwich in half and put on plate
  14. 14Ladle au jus into a ramekin and serve with sandwich
