Mezze Pizza Pita with Traditional Hummus

Crisp, Mediterranean veggies and creamy feta cheese crumbles are layered on a bed of smooth hummus and crispy pita for a dish that satisfies any time of day.



  1. Turn the broiler on at 500ºF and place pita on a baking sheet.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over each pita, sprinkle lightly with oregano, then broil for 2-3 minutes, just until the oil begins to crisp the pita.
  3. Remove from the oven, then carefully and evenly spread hummus over each toasted pita.
  4. Dress with red onion, tomatoes, olives and feta cheese. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
  5. Slice and serve.
