Dark Chocolate Hummus Beignets
Bring a French favorite into your home with freshly made beignets filled with our Dark Chocolate Dessert Hummus. They're so delectable, you might even dip for more!
- Using your favorite beignet dough recipe, roll the dough to ⅛ in thick. Use a knife to cut into 3-inch squares.
- Scoop ½ tsp of Boar's Head Dark Chocolate Dessert Hummus and place in the middle of the square. Fold the dough in half, and pinch the edges together to seal.
- When your oil is hot, add the beignets one at a time with a slotted spoon. Fry for 2-3 min, flipping every 30 seconds, or until golden brown on both sides.
- Let cool for a couple minutes, then toss in powdered sugar.
