Sweet Slice® Uncured Ham & Gruyere Cheese Crepes
Make any morning magical with our exquisite ham and cheese crepes, effortlessly crafted with Boar’s Head Sweet Slice® Boneless Smoked Uncured Ham and Cheddar Cheese.
Ingredients
1cup
Milk1
Egg½cup
All Purpose Flour, add 1tbsp for every ½ cup½tsp
Canola oil½tsp
Salt, plus more, to taste3tbsp
Unsalted Butter1lb
Boar's Head Sweet Slice® Boneless Smoked Ham, thinly sliced8oz
Boar's Head Gruyere Cheese, thinly slicedInstructions
- 01For the crepes, add milk, egg, flour, oil and 1/2 tsp. salt to a blender. Blend for about one minute, or until smooth.
- 02Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to overnight.
- 03Melt 1 tbsp. butter in a crepe pan over medium heat, coating the pan evenly.
- 04Lift the pan at a slight angle and add 2 Tsp. of the batter into the center, tilting to spread patter to the edges of the pan.
- 05Return the pan to the stove and cook until the crepe is golden brown underneath, about 1 to 2 minutes.
- 06Flip the crepe using a spatula and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
- 07Transfer to a plate and cover.
- 08Repeat with remaining batter to make 8 crepes.
- 09Lay a crepe flat on a clean surface and top with 2 oz. of ham and 1 oz. of cheese.
- 10Season with salt and pepper.
- 11Fold the crepe into quarters.
- 12Repeat with the remaining crepes.
- 13Lightly brush the crepe pan with butter. Cook the crepes over medium heat for 1 to minutes per side, or until the cheese begins to melt.
- 14Serve immediately.
