Maple Honey Turkey Grilled Cheese
During the holiday bustle, there's nothing like cozying up with comfort food. Layer our Maple Honey Turkey with slices of aged Vermont Cheddar for a quick and hearty classic.
Ingredients
3tbsp
Butter, softened2slices
Thick Cut Country Style Bread4oz
Boar's Head® Foodservice Vermont Cheddar Cheese - sliced, sliced thin5oz
Boar's Head® Maple Glazed Honey Coat® Turkey Breast, sliced thinInstructions
- 01Spread the butter evenly over one side of each piece of bread.
- 02Place one piece of the bread, butter side down, onto a medium sauté pan.
- 03Layer half the cheese on to the bread.
- 04Layer the turkey on top of the cheese.
- 05Layer the remaining cheese on top of the turkey.
- 06Top with the remaining piece of bread, butter side up.
- 07Place the pan over medium heat and cook until the cheese is melted and the bottom of the bread is golden brown and crunchy, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- 08Flip the sandwich and continue to cook until the bottom side is golden brown and the cheese is melted on both the top and bottom.
- 09Slice in half and serve.
