Maple Honey Turkey Grilled Cheese

During the holiday bustle, there's nothing like cozying up with comfort food. Layer our Maple Honey Turkey with slices of aged Vermont Cheddar for a quick and hearty classic.

Ingredients


3tbsp
Butter, softened
2slices
Thick Cut Country Style Bread
4oz
Boar's Head® Foodservice Vermont Cheddar Cheese - sliced, sliced thin
5oz
Boar's Head® Maple Glazed Honey Coat® Turkey Breast, sliced thin

Instructions


  1. 01Spread the butter evenly over one side of each piece of bread.
  2. 02Place one piece of the bread, butter side down, onto a medium sauté pan.
  3. 03Layer half the cheese on to the bread.
  4. 04Layer the turkey on top of the cheese.
  5. 05Layer the remaining cheese on top of the turkey.
  6. 06Top with the remaining piece of bread, butter side up.
  7. 07Place the pan over medium heat and cook until the cheese is melted and the bottom of the bread is golden brown and crunchy, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  8. 08Flip the sandwich and continue to cook until the bottom side is golden brown and the cheese is melted on both the top and bottom.
  9. 09Slice in half and serve.
