Sweet Slice Ham Linguini Pasta



  1. In a sauce pot, steep the cream with the onion, bay leaf, garlic, thyme and pepper.
  2. Reduce by 1/3, strain and reserve.
  3. Heat the blanching water and add a generous amount of salt.
  4. In a heated sauté pan, add butter and mushrooms.
  5. Cook mushrooms on high heat until they are fully cooked, about 5 minutes.
  6. Add the diced Sweet Slice Ham and heat.
  7. Add the cream reduction and cook all together until cream starts to thicken.
  8. Cook the pasta until al dente and strain in a pasta colander.
  9. Add pasta to the cream, Ham and mushroom sauce then fold in the peas.
  10. Toss the pasta with basil.
  11. Portion the sauced pasta and grate the fresh Parmigiano Reggiano over each bowl.
