Crispy Fried Pickle Chips

Great for prime time on game days, Boar’s Head Pickle Chips are fried to perfection for a crowd-pleasing snack.



  1. Mix together garlic powder, buttermilk, and the jalapeño pepper sauce.
  2. Add the drained pickles and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat oil to 350 degrees, using either a deep fryer or a fry thermometer and a large dutch oven.
  4. Whisk together the flour, cornmeal, salt and pepper.
  5. Add marinated pickles to the flour mixture and toss to coat.
  6. Shake off extra flour.
  7. In batches, carefully add the pickles to the oil.
  8. Fry until golden brown, about 4-6 minutes.
  9. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and sprinkle with salt while hot.
  10. Serve with ranch dressing.
