Classic Corned Beef Reuben Sandwich
Ingredients
2tbsp
Butter, softened2slices
Rye Bread2tbsp
Thousand Island Dressing4oz
Boar's Head 1st Cut Corned Beef Brisket, thin2oz
Boar's Head® Imported Switzerland Swiss® Cheese3tbsp
Boar's Head Sauerkraut, drainedInstructions
- 01Butter one side of each slice of rye bread and place one slice of the bread buttered side down on a flat surface.
- 02Add ingredients in the following order: 1 tbsp of Thousand Island Dressing, Half of the cheese, corned beef, sauerkraut (with optional caraway seeds added if desired),remaining cheese, and an additional 1 tbsp of Thousand Island Dressing. Crown the sandwich with the remaining slice of rye, buttered side up.
- 03Preheat sauté pan over medium-high heat, place sandwich in pan, and heat sandwich approximately 3 minutes on each side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
