Classic Corned Beef Reuben Sandwich

Ingredients


2tbsp
Butter, softened
2slices
Rye Bread
2tbsp
Thousand Island Dressing
4oz
Boar's Head 1st Cut Corned Beef Brisket, thin
2oz
Boar's Head® Imported Switzerland Swiss® Cheese
3tbsp
Boar's Head Sauerkraut, drained
 
Caraway seeds, optional

Instructions


  1. 01Butter one side of each slice of rye bread and place one slice of the bread buttered side down on a flat surface.
  2. 02Add ingredients in the following order: 1 tbsp of Thousand Island Dressing, Half of the cheese, corned beef, sauerkraut (with optional caraway seeds added if desired),remaining cheese, and an additional 1 tbsp of Thousand Island Dressing. Crown the sandwich with the remaining slice of rye, buttered side up.
  3. 03Preheat sauté pan over medium-high heat, place sandwich in pan, and heat sandwich approximately 3 minutes on each side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
