Loaded Breakfast Waffle

This sweet and savory waffle is the perfectaddition to your weekend brunch.Filled with melty cheddar cheese and topped with eggs, bacon, and avocado, it’s loaded with flavor.

Ingredients


 
Header, Cheddar Waffles
3cups
Belgian Waffle Mix
cup
Olive Oil
cups
Water

Egg
½cup
Boar’s Head® Vermont Yellow Cheddar Cheese, grated

Naturally Smoked Traditional Bacon
2tbsp
Butter

Avocado, sliced
1bottle
Maple Syrup, for drizzling

Instructions


  1. 01Cook bacon according to package directions.
  2. 02Meanwhile, lightly grease and heat waffle iron.
  3. 03In a mixing bowl, combine waffle mix, water, eggs, and oil. Add grated cheese and fold until evenly distributed.
  4. 04Pour ⅓ cup of batter into waffle iron and cook for 3-4 minutes, until golden brown.
  5. 05As you cook the waffles, preheat a frying pan over medium heat and melt butter.
  6. 06Pan fry eggs, one at a time, until over easy.
  7. 07As each waffle is cooked, plate and top with one egg, bacon, a slice of avocado and a drizzle of maple syrup.
  8. 08Enjoy!
