Baked Prosciutto & Brie with Apple Butter

Ingredients


1loaf
Crusty French bread
4tbsp
Butter, softened
1cup
Apple butter
1
Pear, thinly sliced
1lb
Boar's Head Brie Cheese, thinly sliced
 
Kosher Salt, to taste
 
Black pepper, to taste
 
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for drizzling
8slices
Boar's Head Prosciutto di Parma®, sliced thin and cut in half

Instructions


  1. 01Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. 02Cut 16 (1/2-inch thick) slices of French bread.
  3. 03Butter the bread slices on both sides and place on a baking sheet.
  4. 04Spread 1 Tbsp. of apple butter on each slice of bread.
  5. 05Add 2 slices of pear to each slice.
  6. 06Top with the Brie slices.
  7. 07Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  8. 08Drizzle with olive oil.
  9. 09Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
  10. 10Top with a slice of prosciutto.
  11. 11Serve.
