Sweet Slice® Uncured Ham Monte Cristo

The festive, traditional flavor of our Sweet Slice® Uncured Ham. The lush combination of Blanc Grue® Gruyere and French Brie cheese. All crafted between two slices of cinnamon raisin French toast. This holiday Monte Cristo will cover your sweet and savory cravings in one indulgent bite.

Half & half
 
Salt & pepper, to taste
2slices
Cinnamon raisin bread
1tsp
Boar's Head® Kosher Dill Pickle Chips
2oz
Boar's Head Gruyere Cheese, sliced
1oz
Boar’s Head French Brie Cheese, sliced thinly
4oz
Boar's Head Sweet Slice® Smoked Ham, sliced thinly
1tbsp
Butter, softened
1tbsp
Powdered Sugar
1tbsp
Raspberry preserves

Instructions


  1. 01Whisk the egg and half & half together, season with salt and pepper and set aside.
  2. 02Place one slice of cinnamon raisin bread on a flat work surface.
  3. 03Evenly spread Boar's Head Real Mayonnaise across the bread.
  4. 04Layer half of the Blanc Grue® Gruyere Cheese and half of the French Brie over the mayonnaise.
  5. 05Place the Sweet Slice® Uncured Ham, evenly, over the cheese.
  6. 06Layer the remaining cheese over the ham.
  7. 07Close the sandwich with the remaining piece of bread.
  8. 08Dip the sandwich into your egg mixture, coating both sides.
  9. 09Heat the butter in a non-stick sauté pan over medium heat.
  10. 10Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown on the bottom, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  11. 11Flip the sandwich and continue cooking until the cheese is melted and both sides are golden brown.
  12. 12Remove from heat and serve with a dusting of powdered sugar and a dollop of raspberry preserves.
