Cheese Fondue

You simply can’t go wrong with melty Boar’s Head Cheese Fondue, featuring our Imported Switzerland Swiss Cheese and Gruyere Cheese. Arrange a selection of your favorite snacks around this timeless dish and enjoy.

Ingredients


1lb
Gold Label Imported Swiss Cheese, shredded
1lb
Boar's Head Gruyere Cheese, shredded
2tbsp
Cornstarch
1
Garlic clove, peeled
1cup
Dry white wine
1tbsp
Lemon juice
1tbsp
Cherry brandy
1tsp
Dry mustard
1pinch
Nutmeg

Instructions


  1. 01In a small bowl, coat the cheeses with cornstarch and set aside. Rub the inside of the ceramic fondue pot with the garlic, then discard.
  2. 02Over medium heat, add the wine and lemon juice and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually stir the cheese into the simmering liquid. Melting the cheese gradually encourages a smooth fondue. Once smooth, stir in cherry brandy, mustard and nutmeg.
