Ingredients
1package
Uncured Beef Frankfurters - Skinless, (8-count)8
Hot dog buns5
Fresh ears of corn, husked and cleaned8tbsp
Bold Fiery Chipotle Gourmaise® Spread½cup
Cotija Cheese or Queso Fresco, finely grated3tbsp
Fresh cilantro or chives, finely choppedInstructions
- 01Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- 02Remove the Boar's Head® Uncured Beef Frankfurters from the package and place individual franks on the preheated grill. Grill to your desired preference, approximately 4–5 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even browning and light caramelization.
- 03While the frankfurters grill, place the fresh ears of corn on the grill and cook for approximately 8–10 minutes, turning frequently to achieve even charring and caramelization. The corn should develop light char marks and release a subtle smokiness.
- 04Lightly place the hot dog buns on the grill for 1–2 minutes, cut-side down, until warmed and lightly toasted.
- 05Once the corn is grilled, carefully remove from the grill and allow to cool slightly. Using a sharp knife, cut the kernels from the cob, working over a bowl to capture all the kernels.
- 06Generously spread approx. 1 tbsp of Boar's Head® Bold Fiery Chipotle Gourmaise® Spread on both the bottom and top sides of each toasted bun.
- 07Place each grilled frank into a prepared bun. Top with corn: Generously pile the charred grilled corn kernels on top of each frank, distributing evenly.
- 08Sprinkle each frank with approx. 1 tbsp of finely grated Cotija Cheese or Queso Fresco, allowing the heat to warm and slightly soften the cheese.
- 09Crown with fresh cilantro or chives and serve immediately.
