SmokeMaster® Black Forest Ham and Imported Switzerland Swiss® Crostini

This masterful flavor pairing combines rich and smoky with creamy and nutty, making a delicious appetizer for any occasion.

Ingredients

French Baguette, sliced
1tbsp
Olive Oil
2cups
Spinach, sauteed
1lb
Imported Switzerland Swiss® Cheese
1lb
Boar's Head SmokeMaster Beechwood Smoked Black Forest Ham
1cup
Basil, chopped

Instructions


  1. 01Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. 02Slice baguette into ½ inch slices, brush with olive oil on both sides and bake on ungreased baking sheet for 10-12 minutes. Begin preparing the sautéed spinach.
  3. 03Drizzle olive oil into a pan over medium heat. Place spinach into pan and saute until soft.
  4. 04Layer crostini pieces with spinach, Swiss Cheese, Ham, then another layer of Swiss Cheese.
  5. 05Place under hot grill, watching closely for the Cheese to melt.
  6. 06Remove from grill and garnish the top of each crostini with fresh basil.
